Arles Merino

Superior quality mulesing-free wool of French origin with over two hundred years of history and tradition. We work directly with local Merino sheep breeders in the Arles region and fully respect the protocols and rules of herd care. For this reason, Merino Arles is certified by UPRA, the French organization responsible for this Arles Merino sheep breed. The softness and comfort of this 20-21 micron French wool are unique. In addition, this wool undergoes a Superwash treatment to further enhance the performance of this curly fiber with the highest number of loops per centimeter. Have fun knitting this DK weight wool for 4 mm needles, ideal for all types of knit and crochet garments.

Technical specifications:

50 gram ball and 100 meters. This is a fine yarn for which it is recommended to use 3.5 - 4 mm needles or a 3.5 - 4 mm crochet hook. For a long-sleeved sweater for women size 42: 8 balls. To obtain a 10x10 cm gauge, knit 19 stitches over 26 rows. Machine wash on the wool program at a maximum of 30ºC. Do not tumble dry.
