Aubusson

Made from 100% long, fine merino fibers (21 microns) which give it an exceptionally soft feel, AUBUSSON yarn is part of the NÉOUX - GUÉRET - AUBUSSON - FELLETIN yarn family (names of towns and villages in Creuse). It is characterized by a double assembly of 8x2 strands, with a fairly strong twist and medium tension, which give it strength, elasticity and bulk. With these characteristics, this fairly dense and thick yarn sculpts shadows and reliefs, and gives the pieces a strong graphic appearance that accentuates the patterns and thicknesses. It is knitted with size 5 needles. Available in a very wide range of colors, it is machine washable at 30°, without spinning; flat drying is recommended.
