Angora Heart

The CŒUR D'ANGORA yarn is made from 80% 100% French angora rabbit hair and 20% merino sheep fleece. Fonty selects the angora rabbit hair from the last traditional French farms. These have all adhered to the "Angora de France" Charter , which defines good practices to guarantee animal welfare and fleece quality. The combination of these two exceptional fibers (angora, merino), and the unique manufacturing process that is applied (in particular for the crucial fluffing stage), makes it possible to obtain an incredibly supple, soft, vaporous, delicate and puffy yarn. CŒUR D'ANGORA is a 2-ply blend, knitted traditionally with needles number 4 to 4.5. It is available in an original color range that overlaps with that of the SERPENTINE yarn, the latter yarn often being knitted in association with CŒUR D'ANGORA. Angora yarn is hand-washed, preferably with organic soap, and dried flat.
