GUÉRET has a special place in the beautiful family of NÉOUX - GUÉRET - AUBUSSON - FELLETIN yarns (names of towns and villages in the Creuse region), these incredibly soft and fluffy yarns, composed exclusively of long, fine merino fibers (21 microns), and machine washable. GUÉRET combines the delicate finesse of the first with the generous fluffyness of the last two. The result of a double assembly of 5x2 strands, with a fairly strong twist and medium tension that give it strength, elasticity and volume, it is a medium-thickness yarn. The twist's density gives it a strong graphic appearance, accentuating shadows and thicknesses. It enhances ribbed designs and can be knitted with needles number 3.5 to 4. GUÉRET yarn is available in a wide range of colors. It is machine washable at 30°. It is best to avoid machine spinning and to air dry, laying flat.
