POLAIRE is a very soft and warm yarn, made from a blend of 50% wool and 50% Baby Alpaca fibers. These fibers come from selected farms in the Andean altiplano, Peru and Bolivia. POLAIRE is a medium-weight yarn with a remarkably soft feel thanks to the qualities of the intimate blend of these two exceptional fibers. It is formed by 3 thin, lightly twisted strands and is knitted with size 4.5 needles. POLAIRE is the little brother of POLE . The colors of POLAIRE are the classic, large shades typical of Fonty's color charts. The alpaca, which gives this yarn its extreme softness, requires hand washing, if possible with natural organic soap, without spinning, followed by flat drying.
